The issue started at 8:26pm Saudi Time and lasted for 103 minutes. The issue was due to a failover of our main database that got into a loop and never restarted. The issue got escalated at 8:45pm to the executive support as high incident to AWS. They started to support us at 9:03pm and the problem got resolved at 10:13pm Saudi Time.
We are now working in getting the right post mortem report from AWS (Amazon Cloud) and understand the steps moving forward. The platform is stable and we will continue working to ensure we add more preventive controls.
